From Our July 31 Parish Bulletin:
SUMMER OF MERCY AND PRAYER FOR LIFE: Blessed Pope John Paul II in the Gospel of Life writes, “a great prayer for life is urgently needed, a prayer which will rise up throughout the world.” In an effort to end the destructive practice of late-term abortion offered by Leroy Carhart at the Germantown Reproductive Health Services on Wisteria Dr., we are uniting in an interdenominational 9-day prayer campaign, which runs until Monday, August 8, 2011. Remaining events at Mother Seton:
■ Sat., Aug. 6: 12 p.m. (noon) to 3 p.m.: Adoration and Prayer Service (bilingual) at Mother Seton Parish. The afternoon will include personal testimonies from those affected by abortion; intercessory prayers for healing; Eucharistic Adoration and Rosary; and an opportunity for Confession. At 2 p.m., Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Martin Holley.
