During his time here at
Mother Seton, parishioners often wished they
could have copies of Deacon Huber's homilies.
Fortunately, he typed them (and still does). His homilees both here at Mother Seton Parish and his current parish, St. Hubert's in Langley, Washington, have
been collected here for all to enjoy (or enjoy
again, as the case may be). More will be added as
they become available.
"To
preach and teach, we do not have to go to the
street corner and scream for people to believe in
God and repent their
sins."

PRAYER
REQUEST: During my homily on the memorial
of Mother Seton, I referred to a daily
prayer for all Christians designed to
strengthen their various Christian
callings in life. Regardless of our
station in life, it reminds us beautifully
that we are still called by Jesus to serve
Him by the way we treat other human
beings. Several parishioners requested a
copy.
Deacon Bob
“Father
stir up within us the consciousness that
you are ever in our midst. Let us be
mindful that you walk and speak to our
world through each one of us. Through your
wonderful graces, Lord, may we fulfill
your commandment that we be the light the
world. May this prayer be reflected in our
daily lives, we ask this through Christ
our Lord, Amen” |
